Asset Maintenance Support Services (AMSS) provides maintenance advisory support of contract requirements and Asset Maintenance Contractor Performance Evaluation Report (AMPER) compliance to Asset Maintenance Contractors (AMC).   AMSS has the skill and ability to provide training to AMC staff members in identifying deficiencies of roadway facilities and relate these issues to the FDOT procedure governing the maintenance requirement.

AMSS will perform all work using the most current Department Standards and Specifications throughout the duration of service and will check for any updated Department Standards and Specifications throughout the life of employment.  AMSS will provide maintenance advisory recommendations on how to manage and maintain all assets within the project limits as identified in Customer’s Contract and that it is consistent with the Department’s maintenance practices.

AMSS will provide maintenance advisory recommendations to the contractor on issues of concern that are based off the current Department Standards and Specifications, from researching plans and specifications of the area and if needed a joint review of the area.
